You can see an armored vehicle approaching the house on the left, right before the explosion, and the PD is reporting there were only “minor injuries with no one transported to the hospital.”

There was no clarification as to whether there were no officers hurt or if it included the subject, but I don’t see how they could have searched the house for anyone in the short period between the explosion and the statement release.

That must have been one heck of a flare gun!

UPDATE: 11:00 CST: FOX just spoke with the man who recorded the video. He’s saying the armored vehicle was making a second attempt to breach the house from a different angle when the house exploded.

He’s also saying the guy was shooting at police at the time, but not with a flare gun. Keep in mind that this is what the witness is saying, not an official statement from the authorities.
