Chicago CCL Holder Shoots Attacker

Four men approached a 23-year-old woman with a concealed carry license (CCL) in Chicago, one with a handgun, who tried to steal her car. She shot one of the attackers in the head but was shot in the left arm as she ran away.

They took the offender she shot to the hospital in serious condition, while they took the woman to a different hospital in fair condition. Three attackers fled the scene, and a man was later found in a stolen car with a gunshot wound to the chest, but it is unclear if it was related to the woman’s shooting.

The incident highlights the importance of being prepared for self-defense situations and seeking training to gain experience in unusual shooting positions.
