How High Can a Bullet Fly

Happy 4th of July

How about a bit of firearm trivia for the holiday?

Have you ever wondered how high a bullet can go if fired straight into the air?

I was surprised to learn there are plenty that can reach the 2-mile mark and beyond. (Obviously, there are huge variations depending on the caliber)

Of course, what goes up must come down, and that’s why fireworks better be the party favor of choice. Besides, the exploding fireworks are a lot more fun.

Happy 4th, and enjoy your independence.
